Ask These 3 Questions Before Buying Leads

Not all leads are created equal, and if you’re purchasing them, due diligence is a must. Failing to vet where your leads come from can put your credibility, finances, and even career at risk.

Before buying leads or data, ask:

✅ How was the lead generated?
✅ Was consent obtained?
✅ What messaging was used to collect their information?

If a third-party provider can’t clearly answer these questions, think twice before moving forward. Using leads sourced through misleading ads or deceptive tactics can backfire — leading to client complaints, legal trouble, and serious damage to your firm’s reputation.
