Hispanic Bar Association Is Building a Legacy In the Inland Empire

Michael Ortiz, President (Hispanic Bar Association of the Inland Empire): “Being a board member is like training—when you join, you’re learning how to run a nonprofit. In five years, I see the Hispanic Bar Association of the Inland Empire becoming the premier organization for Hispanic and Chicano attorneys. Riverside and San Bernardino counties are among the largest in the U.S., both geographically and by population. As we grow and reach our full membership potential, I believe each member will become a true community leader, creating lasting change that will resonate for decades.

The Inland Empire is experiencing a resurgence in the economy and the arts, and I see our association making an impact comparable to the Hispanic Bar Associations of Orange County and Los Angeles.”

Hugo E. Gomez, Founder (Abogados Now): “I totally agree that you will become one of the biggest Bar Associations in California. This is one of the reasons that we wanted to talk to you guys. We know that it’s still a young organization, but the association’s potential is massive, just on population density alone. Based on the increase of Hispanic population in your 50-mile radius, Riverside and the greater San Bernardino area is massive. It’s exciting to see.”
